Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

SimBasic

SimBasic is the story about how four couples, stranded on a deserted island, makes their way to secure their future on the island. They find stuff on the beach, they try to re-invent objects they used to know back home, and they learn to build a small community.

The story was told through illustrations with captions, but also with additional text. The captions felt rather original at the time, and it was pretty time consuming getting all the pictures right, and not just the text. Some typos will accur, though.

The story was run through more than a year, and contains about 100 chapters. It's still a good read, I think, and I got the impression that many readers got hooked. In the beginning I updated ever 2 or 3 days, so it became quite ambitious on my part, and I was kinda proud when third generation islanders were to take over the community, and this story could close.

There is also a spin-off story focusing on just one of the households, which is still active.
